Lives Under Construction
The Walls are currently in Lampe, MO working at a Lives Under Construction Boy's Ranch. We are near the middle of our 3 week stint here. There are eight Sower couples here this month. The men are working on renovations to a recently purchased building about 3 miles from the ranch. They will be using it for a thrift store to make some money off donated items they can not use. The ladies have been helping in the kitchen and painting. Some of them will come to the thrift store tomorrow to help set up shelving. We have been into Branson 2-3 times each weekend for the past 2 weekends. Saw the Jim Staffard show and a Passion Play called the Promise. We have also been to church both Sundays in Branson. Most of the theatres are closed on Sunday and many have church services in their buildings. The musical talent is of course great for the services and many of the attendees are performers at the shows. The sermans have also been good. It's a little cold here, however. Down to freezing last night and we had snow flurries yesterday.
We plan to head back to SC around April 25 as we have doctors' appointments the first week of May. Looking forward to seeing our kids and grand kid!
